Individual Therapy

I provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique challenges. In my practice, I draw from various counseling theories. ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) are effective for addressing individual issues. When working with adolescents, I ensure that the family is involved in the process if desired.

My counseling expertise covers a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship problems, pre-marital counseling, grief/loss, eating disorders, parenting, chronic pain, identity and sexuality, and spirituality. If your specific concern isn’t mentioned here, please don’t hesitate to discuss your needs with me.

Couples Therapy/Marriage Therapy/Divorce Recovery

A relationship can be a source of passion, joy, and harmony, but it can also face challenges. As relationships progress, unresolved conflicts, resentments, external stressors, and negative influences or behaviors can emerge. Affairs and betrayal may occur. When you’ve attempted to address these issues with your partner without success, and you find yourself losing affection and feeling lonely, counseling can provide valuable assistance.

I utilize a combination of Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method. This approach involves assessing individual and couple dysfunction as well as emotional bonds. The goal is to enhance verbal communication, increase intimacy, respect, and affection, and remove barriers that are causing feelings of stagnation or harm to the relationship. These methods are grounded in scientific research and have been tested and proven effective in couples’ interventions.

Whether you are facing an affair, experiencing miscommunication, or “falling out of love” reconciliation is possible. Clients often wonder, “Will counseling save my relationship?” If you are willing to invest the effort, the counseling process can be worthwhile, and most clients leave with a clear decision about their future path.
