About Nannette

Nannette Williams

Hi, I’m Nannette Williams, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #3378) and School Counselor with over 30 years of experience. I help individuals, couples, and families in Charleston, SC, navigate life’s challenges with care, honesty, and practical support.

As a sole practitioner, every call or email goes directly to me. This personal approach ensures that you receive the time, attention, and individualized care that can sometimes get lost in larger practices.

Beyond my work as a therapist, I’m a mother of five. Family is at the core of who I am, and I deeply understand the value of relationships—their joys, struggles, and the effort it takes to keep them strong.

I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from California State University, Fullerton. My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Counseling and a Master’s degree with dual concentrations in Marriage, Family & Child Counseling and School Counseling.

Life can be overwhelming, and you may be facing challenges such as relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, school or work-related stress, grief and loss (including death, divorce, and infertility), addiction, or a general feeling that something isn’t right. Therapy provides a confidential and judgment-free space where you can openly express yourself and gain new tools to move forward.

I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, tailoring therapy to meet your specific needs. If spirituality is important to you, we can incorporate it into therapy in a way that aligns with your beliefs. I also provide support for those healing from spiritual or religious trauma.

A significant part of my practice focuses on couples and relationship counseling, including helping partners rebuild after betrayals such as infidelity or pornography struggles. If divorce is the next step, I help families—especially those with children—navigate the transition with care and understanding.

Finding the right therapist is a personal decision, and I encourage you to ask questions before getting started. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit.

Feel free to reach out by phone or email—I’d love to connect.
